RAUL CARDENAS
Raul has been coaching since 2013 and 1996-1999. His coaching philosophy is centered on player development with an emphasis on enhancing strong technical skills. He is an enthusiastic believer in futsal. Raul has developed high-level players looking to take their talent to the collegiate level. His teams have competed in top flights of premier-level tournaments. Of note: his teams were ranked 2nd in the State of Maryland (Gotsoccer ranking), Maryland State Cup semi-finalists, 5v5 National Qualifiers, Disney Showcase Finalists and Bethesda Premier Cup Champions. Raul previously coached at Maryland Rush Montgomery from 2015 to 2022. Raul has a USSF D License. Coach Raul graduated from University of Maryland, played at Montgomery College (MDJUCO Conference) 1991-1993 and played semi-professional with the Washington Mustangs 1995-1996.
